and a South African sustainable fashion and climate justice communicator and storyteller who believes that sharing ideas, knowledge, and new ways of being is key to transforming fashion and deepening our connection to the world around us. Being based in a country, and on a continent, with rich sustainability cultures, I’m fascinated by how we build welcoming, accessible, and inclusive movements that honor that past while looking to the future.
I love hosting and organizing fashion sustainability events, because I believe that bringing people together in spaces that allow us to break out of our silos, normalize nuanced conversations, and encourage knowledge-sharing lays the foundation for change-making. This is especially true in a fashion industry that thrives on disconnection and opacity. So whether it be a workshop, panel discussion, or live expert interview, learning and unlearning in community feels like a radical act.
